Further details: https://batonofhopeuk.org/the-tour/
SpeakUpCIC will be participating in the Afternoon of Hope which is taking place in Margate Old Town 3pm to 7pm. The Afternoon of Hope is a celebration of life and resilience to promote the arrival of the Baton of Hope in Kent on its Margate leg of the tour as we build a culture of hope within Thanet. The aim is to promote suicide prevention initiatives, encourage emotional wellbeing, positive conversations and
resilience.
Alongside other local organisations supporting people within the Thanet community, SpeakUpCIC will be facilitating a stall to promote what we do and participating in activities throughout the afternoon, such as poetry reading. Please come along and join us if possible.
