The James Bayley Ashford Mental Health
and
Wellbeing Group
For members living in Ashford who wish to meet and engage with others we run a weekly peer support group on Wednesday afternoons.
The James Bayley Mental Health & Wellbeing Group provides the opportunity to meet up and socialise with others, participate in wellbeing activities such as art and craft and share experiences in a safe and friendly environment.
NB: There is no charge to become a SpeakUpCIC member, but we ask for a £2 donation towards room hire/refreshments for attending in-person group sessions.
This weekly group is facilitated by Julia and for those applying to become a member, risk assessments are carried out in-person in Ashford.
For further information about our online Zoom groups – please see the Online drop down.

Alone sat a star,
in a universe of dreams.
Waiting to be discovered
she sat and waited.
Along came an astronomer,
and named her one day.
Now the world knows her
and she watches with glee.

“When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.”
